There is a moment, a few minutes into any evening, when a room changes. A conversation that was polite becomes animated, strangers lean in, and someone laughs before they have quite worked out why. That moment looks different depending on where you are standing.
At a private table, it arrives quietly. A borrowed ring, a thought you never said aloud, a card you only imagined. Up close, with nothing between you and the impossible…
At a wedding, it fills the spaces a day always leaves – the drinks reception, the photographs, the lull between courses – and turns them into the parts your guests talk about long afterwards.
In a boardroom, it does something stranger still. It makes a room of people who have seen everything feel, for a moment, as though they have seen nothing at all.
Every evening is shaped before it begins. Who is in the room, what brings them together, the rhythm of the night, the moment that will matter most. Close-up magic is not a set routine; it is a conversation, and the conversation is different at a wedding than at a milestone birthday or a client dinner. What stays the same is the care taken with it. Twenty-five years of doing this, and the half-second in which a stranger forgets there is a method at all is still the part I work hardest for.
I have spent eight years as the resident magician at The Ned, performing every Wednesday and Saturday. I am one of fewer than 290 magicians worldwide to hold the Inner Magic Circle’s Gold Star for performance. You will also find me at The Magicians’ Table performing alongside some of the most exciting magicians on the circuit. And there are more than 280 five-star reviews from people who, before the evening began, had no idea what was coming.

But don’t just take my word for it… check out some of my latest reviews:
“I thought I had seen magic before but I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. Incredible talent and a really nice bloke with it.”
– Aaron from a May 2026 event
“I saw Roberto at the NED he is without doubt the best magician I’ve ever seen forget David Blaine forget David Copperfield don’t go to Vegas come to the NED it’s absolutely 100 believable.”
– Scott from The Ned in May 2026
Whether all that makes me the best magician in London is not really for me to say. The evening tends to decide that for itself.
If you have a date in mind – a wedding, a dinner, or a corporate evening – drop me a message. I’d love to talk. enquiries@forzonimagic.com
