Entertainment That Earns Its Place
The Savoy has set London’s standard for well over a century, and guests arrive expecting the evening to live up to the address. Entertainment there has to feel like part of the night rather than something booked to fill a gap.
Roberto Forzoni performs close-up magic and mind reading — thoughts read, choices predicted, objects behaving impossibly in a guest’s own hands. There is no stage, no music and no announcement. He moves through the room, and the room does the reacting.
He has performed at The Savoy on a number of occasions, alongside eight years as resident mind reader at The Ned and twenty-five years working rooms of this standard across London. The reaction is the same every time: laughter, disbelief, and a good deal of “how on earth did you do that?” It is what he is booked for.

The Reception, While You Are Being Photographed
The drinks reception is the longest stretch of a wedding day where your guests are on their own — and the one part of it you will not be there to see. Roberto fills it, moving from group to group so both families are talking before they sit down.
Through the wedding breakfast in the Lancaster Ballroom he works table by table between courses, which keeps the energy up in the gaps a timeline cannot avoid.
Private Dinners & Celebrations
A Performance for the Whole Table at Once
For a private dinner, mind reading works differently from magic: it is not a display of skill but something your guests take part in, with their own thoughts and choices at the centre of it.
For groups of ten to thirty, a smaller room such as the Gondoliers Room allows a seated performance for the whole party at once — close-up magic and mind reading just inches away.

Something Better Than Another Drinks Reception
Client evenings live or die on whether guests talk to each other. Magic that happens in their hands gives them something to discuss with the person standing next to them, and something to repeat when they get home.
Whether it is a reception in the Abraham Lincoln Room or drinks in the American Bar before dinner, Roberto arrives fully self-contained and introduces himself to the hotel’s events team on arrival — nothing is asked of your organisers on the night.

Guest Numbers
For close-up mingling, Roberto comfortably covers 80–120 guests in a two-hour performance. For events of up to 300 he extends the performance or recommends a second performer.
Setup Requirements
None. No stage, no PA, no lighting and no power supply — he works the room exactly as it is laid out.
