Roberto Forzoni is a close-up magician and mind reader whose work leans on psychology rather than props. Thoughts are read, decisions predicted, and objects behave in ways that make a whole table turn and look at one another. Nobody is singled out, and nobody is made to feel foolish.

The reception is the hardest part of any event. Guests arrive in ones and twos, conversation is polite, and the room takes half an hour to find its energy. Roberto moves from group to group and collapses that half hour into minutes.
There is nothing to set up and nothing to announce. He simply arrives, works the room as it is, and leaves people talking to each other rather than checking their phones.

Seated dinners have natural gaps — the wait between courses, the lull before the speeches. Roberto works table by table, giving every guest a front-row seat to something impossible just inches away.
For intimate gatherings of 10 to 30, The Secret Room offers something different again: a personal performance of close-up magic and mind reading for the whole group at once.

Roberto is resident mind reader at The Ned in the City, performing two nights a week, and a cast member of The Magician’s Table, London’s immersive magic theatre show.
Very few close-up performers can be seen working live before you book them. If you would rather judge for yourself than take a showreel on trust, that option is open to you.

Send your date, venue, guest numbers and rough running order. Roberto replies personally, usually within 24 hours, and confirms whether the date is free.

How Many Guests?
For close-up mingling, Roberto comfortably covers 80–120 guests in a two-hour performance. For events of up to 300 he extends the performance time or recommends a second performer.
What Does He Need?
Nothing at all — no stage, no PA, no lighting and no power supply. He works in the room exactly as it is, at the pace of your evening.
Where Does He Perform?
Across London and the UK, and internationally. He holds full public liability insurance, with documentation supplied to your venue on request.
