The Part of the Night Everyone Talks About in January
Christmas parties have a quiet problem. Teams who work in different offices, partners who know nobody, that flat half hour between arrival drinks and dinner — an evening takes a while to warm up, and sometimes it never quite does.
Roberto Forzoni is a psychological magician, mentalist and mind reader who solves that in the first twenty minutes. This is not tricks performed at people. It is astonishment that happens between them — thoughts read, choices predicted, and the kind of shared disbelief that has a whole table talking to each other.
With over 25 years of performing and a career spent studying human behaviour as a performance psychologist, Roberto reads a room before he reads a mind. He is a Gold Star member of the Inner Magic Circle, resident mind reader at The Ned, and a cast member of The Magician's Table in London.
Office & Team Christmas Parties
Breaking the Ice Before the First Course
The drinks reception is where a Christmas party is won or lost. Roberto mingles naturally from group to group, so people who have never met are laughing together long before they sit down.
Nothing is required from your venue — no stage, no PA, no lighting, no power. He works the room exactly as it is, and moves at the pace of your evening.
Client & VIP Christmas Drinks
A Thank You Your Clients Actually Remember
A Christmas drinks evening for clients is competitive: yours is one of several invitations in their diary that week. Mind reading gives your guests something to talk about with each other, and something to repeat when they get home.
Roberto has performed for royalty, Fortune 500 companies and London's finest private hosts, and is as at home in a members' club as in a boardroom.
Christmas Dinners & Awards Nights
Table Magic Between the Courses
Seated dinners have natural gaps — the wait between courses, the lull before the speeches. Roberto works table by table, giving every guest a front-row seat to something impossible.
For larger events he can extend the performance or add a short piece before the awards, so the energy in the room lifts rather than dips.
Thank you so much for our Annual Dinner's fantastic, mind-boggling magic. People are still asking how you could read their minds!

What Your Venue and Event Team Will Ask
The three questions that come up on every December booking, answered before you have to ask them.
How Many Guests?
For close-up mingling, Roberto comfortably covers 80–120 guests in a two-hour performance. For events of up to 300 he extends the performance time or recommends a second performer.
What Does He Need?
Nothing at all for close-up performances — no stage, no PA, no lighting and no power supply. For a short show, a small clear area is helpful.
Insurance & Paperwork
Roberto holds full public liability insurance, and documentation can be supplied to your venue or event management company on request.
